The Design of the All-New 2019 Audi A7 Was Stunning, But the Tech Stole the Show!

The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) always delivers spectacular shows, with new vehicle debuts, special editions, and all flavors of automotive news, but this year’s show was special for one particular reason: the US debut of the all-new 2019 Audi A7 Luxury Sedan, with the design meant to represent progressiveness in all respects.

Tech Highlights from the US Debut of the 2019 Audi A7 at 2018 NAIAS

While the focus was on design, the 2019 Audi A7’s tech was the real star of this show. Here’s just a sampling of what to expect on this upcoming Audi model:

  • Comfort & Tech, Blended Seamlessly: The instrument panel of the 2019 A7 is sleek, matching with the flowing horizontal lines of the interior design, offering a sense of spaciousness draped in luxury. Contour lighting accents the door and dashboard, highlighting the subtleties of the space.
  • All-New MMI® touch response: The all-new MMI touch response® was originally unveiled in the Audi A8, but the 2019 Audi Q7 will see this bad boy, too. It removes the rotary knob in favor of an elegant digital display. The system is elegant, quick to respond, and logically laid out. The best part about this all-digital interface? You’ll still get that haptic feedback—a click when you finger triggers something—just like with an analog button.

While there’s still time to wait before the 2019 Audi A7 and all its sumptuous tech makes its way to showrooms like ours, here at Audi Warrington, we’re content enough with the outstanding current Audi lineup to wait a while. If you’re looking for a great vehicle in the here-and-now, join us in our showroom and see what today’s Audi lineup has to offer.
